Are you moving to Ames or just looking to join our box? Great! We are thrilled to welcome you! We honor your experience and fundamentals classes from other CrossFit affiliates (to be distinguished from NON-CrossFit AFFILIATES). We do expect that you be honest with your experience and knowledge of CrossFit movements as we value safety and your health over all else. If you are switching from another affiliate we will let you drop in for one FREE drop-in. If we deem it necessary based on your movement knowledge or form to require any personal training we will discuss this with you at the conclusion of class. Specific movement knowledge includes: all barbell movements – particularly Olympic lifting, gymnastics movements (ring dips, kipping, kipping pull-ups, toes-to-bar, knees-to-elbows OR your appropriate modifications), kettlebell movements (kettlebell swings and snatch), rowing, and medicine ball movements (wall ball shots and med ball cleans).
